I’ve always thought of myself as the person who loves everybody! But when I’m real honest I do realize there are some particular people that “challenge me” (I think that’s a fancy way of saying they bug me!) Whether it’s a specific person or a type of person.
The truth is we are to see the treasure in all people! Just like the guy in Matthew 13:44 we need to see the treasure inside other people and not their “field” that may be rocky and dry. Stop looking at people through your experiences!
And this word challenges me to stop looking at myself and my treasure and what God can do through me. It’s more powerful to look at others and help release their treasure in the Kingdom!
When I actually think more about how to release the treasure hidden in people around me then the Kingdom revival is here! My investment into another person’s “treasure” releases God’s favor into both our lives! Imagine that!
So, instead of thinking about what someone did in the past or who they used to be I’m gonna start praying for eyes to see the treasure buried inside of them and interact with them accordingly.
Challenging word but exciting at the same time.
