This past Sunday we were blessed to hear from Pastor Lorelei. What an incredible Word she gave. It was nice to hear a little about her growing up years and how she came to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
What was a little sad to hear, was just shortly after she decided to make Jesus her Lord and Savior the religious spirit came in and started putting expectations, rules, regulations…well….burdens on her life.
But then I was reminded that we all need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus! Him alone! When we do that we are able to run our race with endurance! We will remain unburdened by the things of this world.
Satan is “the accuser of the brethren”. That’s what he does. I was challenged not to become a version of the accuser. How would that ever happen? By continuing to bind a person to their past. By not allowing them to be set free, by thinking I need to remind them of what they’ve done. Yikes! I do not want to do that!
